ROUTES AND ACTIVITIES
Our apartment is located in the neighborhood of Mar de Sant Adrià. This is an ideal place to rest and relax and to do activities such as walking or cycling.
Below we show you our most outstanding recommendations to consider in this area:
Enjoy a beach day
The beach is at 3 minutes walking approximately.
Arriving is very easy: when leaving the portal of the building you turn to the right, then you cross the train tracks through the underpass and you continue straight ahead and will see the beach!
A walk through the river park of the Besòs river (walking or cycling)
The Besòs River Park is less than 5 minutes away by foot. Once you reach the park you can take walks along the entire river both towards the river mouth and inlands.
A walk along Av. Litoral to the Barceloneta neighborhood (walking or cycling)
We recommend, if time is available, taking a walk from the apartment to the Barceloneta neighborhood of Barcelona to later climb Las Ramblas and take the R1 train back to Sant Adriá.
The approximate duration is 3h. The walk is especially impressive if it is done at dawn or first thing in the morning.
Along the promenade you will find different restaurants and bars typical of Barcelona where you can enjoy a gastronomic stop with excellent views of the sea.
To the north along the beaches of the Mediterranean coast (walking or cycling)
Another very interesting option is the walks along the coast in the north direction. From the apartment you can start the route to Badalona, continue to Masnou and so on. During the entire walk you can enjoy the sea.
The walk can be extended as much as you want since every 5 km approximately there are train stations to return to Sant Adriá whenever you want.
As in the previous tour of the Avenida Litoral de Barcelona, it is especially advisable to perform this activity during the sunrise.
Visit to the air raid shelter
The air raid shelter is a resistance embezzlement of the Republican side during the Spanish Civil War, Sant Adriá being one of the last bastions where the Republicans remained before the end of the war. It is located just 9 minutes from the apartment.
